An artist's book on the most majestic of seabirds, the Gannet. A 19th Century text incorporated into the imagery tells how Gannets were killed by fishermen by putting out a herring on a board. However, the text took on a different connotation on the discovery of dead bouquets of flowers on the beach, left in memory of a local woman whose body had been found nearby.
